Havmor has introduced a new Guava Chilli Ice Cream inspired by the popular Indian street-style snack of guava seasoned with chilli powder and masala. The launch reflects the brand’s focus on turning familiar local flavours into modern dessert experiences while preserving their authentic taste profile.
The new ice cream combines sweet, tangy, and mildly spicy notes with a creamy texture and contains 25% fruit preparation to enhance its real fruit appeal. To make the experience more interactive, the product also includes a separate chilli masala sachet that allows consumers to customize the spice level according to their preference. The company believes this feature will particularly attract younger consumers looking for unique and engaging food experiences.
According to company officials, the flavour was developed based on strong consumer familiarity with guava and chilli combinations commonly found across India. The product has already received encouraging early market feedback and is reportedly emerging as one of the brand’s better-performing tub variants.
The Guava Chilli Ice Cream is now available through general trade outlets, Havmor parlours, and quick-commerce platforms including Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and Flipkart minutes. The launch is being promoted through outdoor advertising and social media campaigns aimed at highlighting the nostalgic appeal of the flavour combination.
Havmor operates under Lotte India Corporation Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of South Korea-based Lotte Wellfood. The company recently expanded its manufacturing footprint in India with a large ice cream production facility in Pune to support growing demand across the country.
