The limited-period collaboration combines Britannia Treat Croissant with Havmor Blockbuster ice cream across three flavour combinations in select Indian cities.
Britannia Treat Croissant and Havmor Blockbuster have partnered to introduce a new Croissant Blockbuster ice cream sandwich, bringing together filled croissants and ice cream in a limited-period offering. The collaboration combines the two brands in a format designed around the growing consumer interest in novel croissant-and-ice-cream combinations.
The new offering is available in three combinations: Vanilla Croissant with Triple Choco, Mixed Fruit Croissant with Wild Berries, and Cocoa Croissant with Triple Chocolate. Each combination pairs the soft, filled texture of the Britannia Treat Croissant with Havmor Blockbuster ice cream to create contrasting flavours and textures in a single serving.
The collaboration is also supported by a digital film that highlights the two products coming together and builds on the popularity of croissant-and-ice-cream combinations as a shareable food experience. The campaign positions the new format around experimentation and indulgence rather than a conventional standalone snack or dessert.
According to Britannia, consumers are increasingly exploring different ways to enjoy familiar products, and the collaboration brings the distinct characteristics of its Treat Croissant and Havmor Blockbuster together in a new format. Havmor has similarly linked the launch to consumer interest in food discovery and new experiences, particularly around combinations that can generate social and digital engagement.
The Croissant Blockbuster ice cream sandwich will be available for a limited period at select Havmor parlours in Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai. Consumers can also access the pairing as a combo through Zepto for home delivery in the markets where the offering is available.
The launch follows Britannia Treat Croissant’s wider efforts to build awareness around the croissant category in India. Britannia has previously used cultural moments, digital campaigns and consumer-focused activations to make croissants more familiar and accessible to Indian consumers.
Britannia’s 2024–25 annual report noted that India’s croissant category remains relatively young, with limited awareness and a small number of established players. The company said its Treat Croissant business recorded strong growth during the financial year, supported by innovation, awareness-building and consumer engagement initiatives.
