Mooij Agro has unveiled Croptimiz-r MAX, its new all-in-one controller designed to optimise storage conditions for potatoes, onions and other crops.
The system succeeds the company’s established Croptimiz-r platform and is intended to deliver improvements in speed, usability and performance across storage facilities.
The controller can manage up to 16 storage cells simultaneously and automates processes such as ventilation, heating and cooling based on real-time sensor data. According to Mooij Agro, the platform prevents issues including condensation, over-drying and temperature fluctuations, helping preserve crop quality throughout the storage cycle.
Croptimiz-r MAX incorporates a redesigned interface and next-generation hardware, featuring a 12-inch touchscreen, upgraded processing capacity and secure remote access via app. It is fully compatible with existing Mooij Agro components, enabling integration into both new and retrofit systems. Energy efficiency is a key feature of the new system.
Rather than relying on static settings, Croptimiz-r MAX adjusts operations dynamically to reduce energy use and extend equipment life, a capability that the company highlights as particularly relevant in energy-intensive regions. The platform also includes EVA (Easy Virtual Assistant), a digital tool that provides step-by-step configuration support, real-time monitoring and practical alerts to guide users through climate management without constant manual oversight.
As part of the Hotraco Group, Mooij Agro develops automation solutions for crop storage facilities worldwide. Since 2024, Hotraco has been part of Munters, a global supplier of energy-efficient air treatment and climate control systems, a move intended to accelerate innovation and international expansion.
