Pasta Garofalo, a family-owned pasta manufacturer that has offered more than 100 shapes since its founding in 1789, has launched a line of frozen pastas in the United States called Ristorante Garofalo.
Made with individual instant quick-freezing technology, the new durum wheat semolina pasta dishes are free of artificial flavors and preservatives and may be prepared in 6 to 7 minutes, the company said.
The pasta line consists of five varieties that include Cheesy Half Rigatoni, an al dente rigatoni covered in a creamy cheese sauce; Spaghettoni all’Arrabbiata, a hearty spaghettoni topped with spicy tomato sauce; Giant Fusilli alla Sorrentina, a spiraled pasta baked with tomato sauce and mozzarella; fettuccine alfredo, a classic pasta dish featuring a mix of Parmesan and alfredo sauce; Gnocchi Four-Cheese, a potato gnocchi made with Gorgonzola and a creamy cheese blend.
“Ristorante Garofalo represents an exciting new chapter for our brand,” said Flavia Garzia, marketing and new business development manager of Pasta Garofalo. “This line brings traditional craftmanship and genuine Italian flavors to a space where quality is often compromised.
Each dish is made with carefully selected ingredients and time-honored recipes, ensuring consumers experience the same taste and texture Garofalo dry pasta is known for. Through this expansion, we aim to set a new benchmark for frozen pasta in the US, offering both convenience and exceptional flavor.” Ristorante Garofalo is now available at select US retailers and grocery stores including The Giant Co., Gelson’s and Bristol Farms.
