FrietHoes Produces First Fries at Its New Factory in Nieuw-Vennep

A major milestone has been reached in Nieuw-Vennep, the Netherlands, as FrietHoes celebrates the first fries rolling off the production line at its new factory.

After months of demolition, construction, installation and fine-tuning, the facility has officially entered its first production testing phase.

First Potatoes Processed as New Production Line Comes to Life

The past few days have marked an important moment for the entire FrietHoes team. The first potatoes were unloaded, machines were switched on and the production process began to take shape. Conveyor belts started moving, engines were running, the baking oven was heated, cooling systems were activated and the packaging machines were prepared for operation.

The highlight was undoubtedly the moment the first fries came off the production line. Although the initial results are not yet perfect, the fries were already tasting promising, giving the team confidence in the progress made so far.

A Promising Start After Months of Hard Work

Like every new production facility, the journey begins with a first potato, a first test and the first batch of fries. With the production lines now running, FrietHoes is taking another important step towards achieving its intended production quality and final results.

The company says that every day brings further progress. Once the fries meet the desired quality and taste standards, production will be ready to reach a wider market.

The milestone is also a moment of celebration for everyone involved in bringing the new factory to life, from machine builders and installation teams to FrietHoes employees who have worked hard over recent months. What began as construction drawings has now become a working production facility, with the first freshly produced fries ready to taste. For FrietHoes, this is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
