ARCO and LA Lucky Celebrate the Start of a New Cold Storage Project in El Monte

Cold Storage
ARCO National Construction’s Southern California division is proud to partner with LA Lucky, a leading Asian grocery wholesaler and foodservice distributor, on a new 100,465-square-foot cold storage facility in El Monte, California.

Our team recently joined the LA Lucky family to celebrate the start of construction with a demo day event. Headquartered in Southern California, LA Lucky distributes a wide range of Asian packaged foods, frozen seafood, snacks, and specialty products to retailers across the U.S. As the company continues to grow, this new facility will significantly enhance its operational capacity and distribution capabilities.

The project includes nearly 55,000 square feet of dry warehouse space, over 17,000 square feet of freezer space, and a state-of-the-art convertible cooler designed to accommodate a range of temperature requirements. Demolition of the existing structure is now underway, marking the first step toward delivering a modern, efficient facility designed to support LA Lucky’s long-term growth.

This project adds to ARCO’s growing portfolio of temperature-controlled facilities across Southern California, supporting the region’s thriving food distribution and logistics industry through innovative, efficient design-build solutions.
