Almarai Receives Two Awards in Kantar’s 2026 Brand Rankings

The Saudi dairy company was recognised as the Most Meaningful and Different Brand in the Dairy Category and placed among the Top Five Most Valuable Saudi Brands.

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – Almarai Company has received two recognitions in Kantar’s 2026 BrandZ Most Valuable Emirati and Saudi Brands rankings. The company was named the Most Meaningful and Different Brand in the Dairy Category and was also placed among the Top Five Most Valuable Saudi Brands for 2026.

The recognitions were presented as part of the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Emirati and Saudi Brands Awards 2026. Kantar’s rankings combine consumer research with financial analysis to assess brand value and identify brands that demonstrate relevance and distinctiveness in their markets.

The 2026 study covered 726 brands across 43 categories and was based on interviews with more than 62,000 consumers. Kantar’s methodology considers financial value alongside consumer perceptions and measures including demand, pricing strength and future growth potential.

Almarai’s recognition in the dairy category reflects its position within Saudi Arabia’s dairy market and its continued engagement with consumers. The company said the award highlights its ability to develop products around changing consumer needs while maintaining a distinctive brand presence.

The company’s inclusion among Saudi Arabia’s five most valuable brands also places it within the leading group identified by the 2026 BrandZ study. Kantar reported that the combined value of the UAE and Saudi Arabia’s ranked brands reached a record US$127 billion, up 20% from the previous year.

Almarai has received other industry recognition during 2026. In July, an Ipsos study placed the company as the most influential brand in Saudi Arabia’s food and grocery sector and third among Saudi brands overall.

The latest Kantar recognition adds to Almarai’s visibility across the Saudi food and dairy market, where the company operates across dairy, juice, bakery, poultry and infant nutrition categories. The company continues to serve consumers across Saudi Arabia and other markets in the region.

For the broader dairy industry, the recognition also illustrates the growing importance of consumer perception, brand differentiation and product relevance alongside operational and financial performance. Kantar’s 2026 findings indicate that brands with strong consumer connection and distinctiveness are increasingly important drivers of brand value across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
