The Delhi-based dairy company receives recognition at The India Collective after achieving a ₹100 crore revenue run-rate and expanding its high-protein dairy product portfolio.
Doodhvale Farms has been recognised as the ‘Emerging D2C Dairy Protein Brand’ at The India Collective, an initiative by Hindustan Times celebrating businesses and brands contributing to India’s growth. The recognition marks an important milestone for the Delhi-based company as it expands beyond fresh milk delivery into the dairy protein segment. The award was received by Co-Founder and CEO Aman J Jain and Co-Founder and COO Ishu Jain on behalf of the company.
Founded in 2019, Doodhvale Farms initially focused on delivering fresh milk directly to consumers. It has since expanded its portfolio through its Pro+ range, which includes high-protein paneer, dahi, milk and whey-based protein products. The company aims to make protein-rich dairy products more accessible to Indian households by incorporating them into everyday food consumption rather than focusing exclusively on specialised sports nutrition.
The company’s Pro+ portfolio includes paneer containing 25 grams of protein per 100 grams and dahi offering approximately 20–22 grams of protein per pack. It has also introduced whey-based Farm Protein products in Family and Advanced variants. These offerings are designed to address growing consumer interest in protein-rich foods and value-added dairy products.
A key part of the company’s business model is its vertically integrated supply chain. Milk is sourced from its captive farms, where buffalo, A2 cow and regular cow herds are maintained separately to support traceability. The milk is processed at its facility in Sonipat, Haryana, before being transported through the company’s cold-chain network. According to Doodhvale Farms, fresh milk reaches consumers within 36 hours of milking.
Quality monitoring is carried out at multiple stages, including at the farms, upon milk arrival, after pasteurisation and in finished products. The company also uses NABL-accredited laboratories for advanced testing. This farm-to-consumer operating model is intended to maintain product consistency and strengthen consumer confidence in its dairy offerings.
Doodhvale Farms has reported delivering more than one million orders and achieving annual growth of over 50% for three consecutive years. Its revenue run-rate has reached approximately ₹100 crore, with less than ₹20 crore of capital utilised. More than 80% of its sales come through its own mobile application and website, allowing the company to offer protein products alongside customers’ regular milk purchases. Fresh dairy is delivered across cities in North India, while shelf-stable products are available across India.
The company is now targeting ₹250 crore in gross sales within the next three years. Its expansion strategy includes introducing additional Pro+ products, developing partnerships with more farms that follow its operating standards and increasing distribution through quick-commerce platforms and online marketplaces. The company also plans to broaden its presence in the everyday dairy and specialised protein categories.
The recognition at The India Collective reflects the growing market interest in protein-focused dairy products and direct-to-consumer food businesses. With its expanded product range, controlled sourcing network and digital distribution model, Doodhvale Farms is seeking to strengthen its position in India’s evolving value-added dairy market.
