CRISP POWER Invests $15 Million in Texas Production Facility to Support U.S. Growth
CRISP POWER Protein Pretzels has invested $15 million in a new manufacturing facility in Stafford, Texas, establishing its first domestic production hub as the company accelerates its expansion across the United States.
The move represents a significant shift in the brand’s growth strategy, transitioning from an import-based supply model to local manufacturing in order to meet rising consumer demand and strengthen retail partnerships.
“The U.S. market has validated everything we set out to do,” said Gilad Zilberberg, Founder and CEO of CRISP POWER. “Consumers are seeking snacks that provide meaningful protein and fiber without sacrificing taste, and retailer demand has reinforced the opportunity. Producing locally enables us to respond faster, improve supply efficiency, and deliver fresher products to customers.”
The Texas facility comes approximately two years after the brand’s U.S. debut. Since launching in the market in 2024, CRISP POWER products had been imported from Israel and manufactured by Meir Bagel, a bakery acquired by Zilberberg in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has achieved triple-digit year-over-year growth.
CRISP POWER initially built momentum through digital sales channels, including its direct-to-consumer platform, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. Strong online demand and repeat purchases helped pave the way for expansion into major retail chains across the country.
Recent retail growth includes Fresh Thyme’s nationwide rollout of the brand’s 7-ounce bags, Wegmans’ expansion of Cheddar and Flamin’ Crunch varieties, Market Basket’s introduction of branded displays, H-E-B’s launch of three SKUs throughout Texas, and Hy-Vee’s expansion of both single-serve and larger-pack offerings. Today, CRISP POWER products are available in more than 3,000 retail locations nationwide.
The company’s Protein Pretzels contain up to 28 grams of protein, 10 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of net carbohydrates per 1.75-ounce serving. Available flavors include Everything, Sea Salt, Sesame, Cinnamon Crunch, Cheddar, and Flamin’ Crunch.
With the Stafford facility now operational, CRISP POWER plans to further expand distribution, strengthen retail relationships, and support future growth across both physical and digital sales channels.
