Purabi Dairy Unveils Full Cream Milk and Rongali Bihu Campaign in Assam
Purabi Dairy has launched a new full cream milk variant, Purabi Gold, ahead of the Rongali Bihu celebrations in Assam.

The product has been introduced by West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Ltd (WAMUL), popularly known as Purabi Dairy, and is now available across Guwahati and nearby regions. The launch comes in response to rising demand for high-fat milk among consumers and sweet shop operators in the state.

Purabi Gold is available in one-litre packs and contains 6 percent fat along with 9 percent solids-not-fat (SNF). According to the dairy cooperative, the new offering expands its existing range of dairy products, which already includes standardized milk, curd, paneer, cream, lassi, ghee and other value-added products.

A spokesperson for the cooperative said the company remains focused on supplying high-quality dairy products to consumers across Assam and introduced the new full cream milk variant as part of the Rongali Bihu celebrations.

To mark the festive season, Purabi Dairy has also launched a radio jingle campaign carrying greetings and appreciation on behalf of the 29,000 dairy farmers associated with the cooperative. The campaign promotes the company’s new tagline, “Axomor Xuwaad,” while encouraging people to support Assam’s growing dairy sector and participate in the state’s White Revolution initiative.

Purabi Dairy has played a major role in supporting the livelihoods of thousands of dairy farmers across Assam. As the region’s largest dairy cooperative, the organisation has steadily expanded its market presence while ensuring stable income opportunities for farmers and providing a wide range of dairy products to consumers throughout the year.
