Unique Cold Storage announced it has expanded its menu of services to include custom bagging capabilities. The netted bagging equipment complements the company’s offerings of third-party services.
“We have had requests from customers to add this service for avocados and limes,” said Wyatt Wickizer, VP of operations for the company. “This new equipment provides additional value for the growers, shippers and international importers we service. We anticipate some customers may wish for us to bag product beyond the items I mentioned, including other citrus products.” he said.
The Unique Cold Storage facility, located in Pompano Beach, FL, is Primus certified and carries SQF, Organic and SMETA certifications. The company offers a significant menu of services including: cold storage, consolidation, cross docking, forced air and hydro cooling, ripening services and customized packing services. The company is ideally located minutes from major ports and the I-95 and Florida turnpike corridors.
